Acronyms

 

Here you will find several Key Club acronyms and learn what they stand for! 

CNH California-Nevada-Hawaii: Key Club is separated internationally into districts and our district is known as the California-Nevada-Hawaii district (also abbreviated as Cali-Nev-Ha). There are a total of 33 districts in Key Club International! *To the left is the CNH Key Club logo! 

 

D7SDivision 7 South: A division is a grouping of clubs within the same community. We are a part of Division 7 South and we are the Orange Monsters!

DCM Divisional Council Meeting: The Division holds monthly meetings to update members about upcoming events and what has been happening within our division.

MEP Major Emphasis Program: "Children: Their Future, Our Focus". A project where every Key Clubber in the world focuses on making an international impact. 

DCON District Convention: DCON stands for District Convention which is held every year to bring together members of Key Club International from the different regions that bind a district together. This life-changing and unforgettable event will stay with you forever as you meet new people; attend workshops and dances, and much more! This year's DCON theme is CELEBRATE: Service, Leadership, Family!

FRN Fall Rally North: Every year, Key Clubbers from Northern California gather at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom to raise money for pediatric trauma prevention, not only that but they also show off their amazing spirit and cheer at the top of their lungs during the rally session. A portion of ticket sales will also go towards pediatric trauma prevention. 

LTG Lieutenant Governor: A Lieutenant Governor is the head of a specific division who works with the officers from all the schools to help keep KEY Club running at your school. 

MNTMaternal and Neonatal TetanusMaternal and Neonatal Tetanus can quickly turn the joy of childbirth into tragedy. MNT kills one baby every eleven minutes. Its effects are excruciating — tiny newborns suffer repeated, painful convulsions and extreme sensitivity to light and touch. There is little hope of survival. And tetanus kills mothers too.. 

PTP Pediatric Trauma Program: Key Club works with organizations like Unicef, March of Dimes, and the Children Miracle Network to help children who are in special need.
